J. Douglas Kirk
B.A., J.D., C.F.E.Mr. Kirk received his Juris Doctor degree cum laude from University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento in 1986, where he received awards for Trial Advocacy.
Mr. Kirk was previously an adjunct Professor of Law at Trinity School in Santa Ana, California, where he was named professor of the Year in 1993, and has also taught as an adjunct Professor at Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, California. Mr. Kirk is admitted to practice law in the State of California, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Central Districts of California, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He also holds a certification as a Fraud Examiner with the ACFE.
David P. Toberty
B.A., J.D.Mr. Toberty received his Juris Doctor degree cum laude from Regent University School of Law in Virginia in 1990. He was a member of the Regent University Law Review and received the American Jurisprudence Award for achieving the highest academic score in Family Law.
Ms. Toberty joined Kirk and Toberty as an associate attorney in 2013. She received her Juris Doctor degree cum laude from Regent University School of Law in Virginia. She was the Editor in Chief of the Journal of Law and Public Policy and received the Family Law Award as well as the Professionalism Award.
Ms. Toberty is an adjunct professor of Law at Trinity Law School where she has taught Criminal Law and Family Law. Ms. Toberty serves on the board for My Refuge House, a non-profit after-care facility for girls rescued from sex-trafficking in Cebu, Philippines.
